Cooper's Cruel Cut (Updated)

*Update:  Cooper did fine with his surgery.  We brought him home around 5 PM and he was in a lot of pain.  He was laying there whimpering.  Felt sorry for him...poor guy.  He has lots of meds and two different types of pain pills that we stagger so he seems to be feeling a lot better today.  He's even running and looking out the upstairs windows to see Jeff drive off so his spirit is willing to go out and about even though he is on restricted activity for 5 days.  We'll take both Cooper and Kanan out around sunset for a little walk.  Thanks for your concern.
 
Today is the day... Cooper is going in for the cruel cut!  He's being neutered this morning and, while under, they will clean his teeth.  He will have to wear an (Elizabethan) E-collar for a week to 10 days.  That's always fun!  He'll be banging into walls, doorways and the backs of our legs.  We are going to Mammoth with Justin and Sarah and their two dogs towards the end of July so we wanted to make sure Cooper is all healed up before then.  As you know, he likes to leap off tall boulders in a single bound so we don't want him popping any stitches.  I, of course, will be a nervous wreck until they call and tell us he's out of surgery and doing fine.  Kanan will be relieved to see Cooper out of commission because he was being way too amorous for Kanan's liking.  We had too many things come up on Friday so Jeff didn't have time to install the Skamper Ramp but will do that today and test it out so I should have a video to post on Monday.
