Beach Weather

We often get June Gloom this time of year at the beach.  It can be 90 where we live and then we drive 20 minutes to the beach and it's socked in with fog.  But not the last few days...it's been great beach weather.  Jeff and I took Cooper and Kanan to a dog beach just south of Santa Barbara on Wednesday.  It was a beautiful, sunny beach day with temps in the low 80's which is warm for the beach which usually hovers in the 70's.  Here are a  couple of photos of the dogs enjoying the surf and the sand.
Cooper, the glory hog!  Kanan swims out for the fetch toy and Cooper takes it once on shore!

    they look like they're having a good time!

    cold, wet, windy here. Just the way I like it! One of our regional shows has cancelled due to the bad weather. Welcome to summer!

    The doggies are sure having a good time! :)
    Rainy and cold here, just yucky! The sun have lost its battle with the clouds for 72 hours in a row. Sob!

    The weather has been really nice. We get a bit windy here by the hills and it bugs my sinuses a bit. But I am still walking. I am getting ready for Diamond Head, did I mention that? Did you have to get in shape for your Yosemite hike? I will be glad when my hubby retires and he can walk with me. Happy Sunday!

    Wish I was at the beach with you guys! Cooper & Kanan look like they are having a ball. ;-} I haven't been to the beach in over 6 years when I was in CA with Elena. Can I share the umbrella at least? ;-} Hugs
