October is always a fun month with lots of street fairs, harvest festivals and pumpkin patches. On Sunday, Jeff and I went to the
Thousand Oaks Street Festival. We decided to go there instead of the Calabasas Pumpkin Festival since the former is free and the latter charges admission and the booths and activities are pretty much the same. Today, Ryan's class is going to a Pumpkin Patch at one of our local farms in Camarillo. It will be his first time on a school bus and he's been experiencing a bit of angst about this but now he's coming around because he's going to sit with his friend, another Ryan, and he knows I'm going to meet him there. I'll bring along Jacob. Should be a good opportunity for some more cute Autumn photos. Remember these from last year?
I miss Ryan's long hair. I'm trying to convince Jessica (mainly Pat) to let it grow out at least enough to make a little spiky top.
This was a favorite photo and I used it for the cover of a Photobook that I made for Jacob last Christmas.
Hi Darylynn;
ReplyDeleteThe Thousand Oaks Street Festival looks like as lot of fun. I see from their page that kids eat free too. I love those photos of your grandsons. They are so adorable. Looking forward to see pics of the Pumpkin Patch trip. Have a great day my friend. Hugs
It's amazing how much difference a year can make to kids, they change so much and so quickly.
ReplyDeleteLove those pics, and looking forward to see this years from you.
hope you have fun. Wish I could grow big old pumpkins like that!

The street fairs are just the best. I love this time of the year too! We are on the cool side today - shocking! Wow the kids sure have changed in a year. Amazing! Ryan will love the ride on the bus. Have fun! Hugz!
ReplyDeleteHi Darylynn,
ReplyDeleteI had a friend go to the Calabasas Pumpkin Festival yesterday she loved it. But the one you went to sounds fine to me. Those are adorable pictures of the boys :) Have a great day! We are heating up yet again this week enough already! Hugs, Dru
Hi Darylynn, have fun at the Pumpkin patch. I also like it when Eddie has his curls but his dad likes it short. I posted at my Daybook and changed my blog over again. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteHi Darylynn,
ReplyDeleteWhat cute photos. The boys have grown so much since then.
Now that is some basket!
Hugs
Hi Darylynn. :) Oh such cute photos! Love that curly hair. lol I hope you and the boys had a good time at the pumpkin patch. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteCute photos, Darylynn! Last weekend I was up in Tennessee and we all went to a Harvest Festival in Maryville. It was all free (except for the food) with lots of craft vendors and lots of free rides for the kids, even a zip line. The weather was cool and I loved it! Fall is my favorite time of the year. Have a great day! ((Hugs))
ReplyDeleteHi Darylynn,
ReplyDeleteLove those photos, the boys are so adorable, but yes they sure have grown :) In answer to the question you left at my blog about Paul and Jackie's annual Halloween parties... they haven't had a Halloween party in years now, unfortunately. J's nieces and nephews have outgrown them so she decided not to hold them anymore. Such fun we had every year, though. No new post at my blog. Things are fine here, studies are going good. It's snowing here today, started last night. Areas south of here got a lot more than us.
I've sent out a few inquiries to site hosting companies regarding that spamming nonsense I had several months back (where comforthost pretty much booted me out). I'm thinking about getting Moments of Tranquility site going again, but am asking them what I can do/or can be done if the spamming mystery starts up again. Have a wonderful week. Lots of hugs
Ciao Darylynn, the boys are adorable! :) I can't believe how "grown up" they both look! :D
ReplyDeleteHope you and the boys had a good time at the pumpkin patch. I wish we had them here too. I didn't have the chance to visit one while in the USA.
I honestly hope to move back to Italy one day. It's not the cold that bothers me the most, but the gray sky and gloomy days. Most of the days it rains, and even when it's dry (like today) the sun is rarely out. I have been keeping track of the sunny days this year, and I can assure you they have been very few. So depressing!
Take care, hugs!
Hi Darylynn, I was working on my blog when you tagged me. So I just uploaded a bunch of pictures. It is funny how a page looks in different browsers. I am loving this fall weather!
ReplyDeleteLoving DWTS too!
What beautiful photos of the boys....it looks like you had a great day out. How did Ryan go re the bus after all that?
ReplyDeleteI have to say it seems odd seeming all your autumn colours when it's spring here!
We went to our local pumpkin patch too this past weekend. We tried to avoid the rain... but got a little. The pictures are up on my blog and facebook. You probably have seen them. HUGS
