Costa Rica

Justin and Sarah are leaving for Costa Rica tonight.  They'll be gone for 10 days.  We're taking Ryan and Jacob down to Justin's today to go to the waterslides and water play area where Sarah lives in Irvine.  We'll bring Sierra, Justin's dog, home with us.  Sarah sent me their itinerary which she has all planned out.  They are attending a wedding towards the end of the trip.  The trip begins in Panama where they will see the Panama Canal.  Then they fly to Puerto Viejo in Costa Rica where they will be staying at Mother Dear Cottages.  Check out the link- there are only 2 handcrafted cottages on stilts right on the beach.  While there, they have surfing, diving and white water rafting with Exploradores Outdoors scheduled.  On Thursday, they leave for La Fortuna where they will be staying at Hotel Mountain Paradise.   This also looks like a wonderful luxury hotel.  It's located by the Arenal Volcano and they will be going to hot springs fed by the volcano.  Also on the schedule is ziplining over the forest.  HERE'S a link showing their ziplining adventure,  Finally on Sunday, September 2nd, they will be attending the wedding. (Oh yeah, that's why they're there!)  They fly back to Panama on Monday and we pick them up at the airport Tuesday afternoon, September 4th.  Another action packed trip and I know you're going to ask...."When are YOU going on one of these dream vacations?"  Good question!
