London

I was beginning to think I wouldn't have any London photos to share because I was checking London time and it was 11:30 PM but then I looked again a few minutes later and Justin had added quite a few photos on Facebook from their day of sightseeing.  The only problem was that they were all added with the caption, "Some shots today from The Tower of London, the Eye of London, Big Ben and Buckingham Palace" so I have to figure out what's what. Maybe Sadie and Chris and Liz can help.  I know most but aren't sure about a couple so if I get them wrong, add a comment.

From Justin's short comment on Facebook, it sounds like he loved the Tower of London. That would be so his cup of tea!  He had other photos of full plate armor.  He would be so intrigued that they really had ancient armor to see!  Today they are visiting Hampton Court Palace and attending a high tea. Is that where you get booze?

  1. superb photos, and see? I told you they would get a bit of sunshine!

The place in the background of the first pic doesn't look like Buck House to me, so I'm not sure where that is. However, it could just be the angle, but it doesn't like like it to me. Looks more like the Tower.

The rest are spot on. Love the Tower of London, did they go inside and see the Crown Jewels? They are an amazing sight to see.

I shouldn't think they'll get booze at HCP's tea, but you never know! Either way, it'll be fantastic.

Enjoy your Friday. Glad it's the weekend. St Patrick's Day and then on Sunday, it's Mother's Day for us! I've already had my pressie, but I'm still expecting to be spoilt rotten. The girl has blabbed that they've been making cards and things at school! Aww. She's just like me, can't wait until the day itself!

    xx

  7. Hi Darylynn,

I scrolled up to look for Sadie's post first :P. But I'm not surprised you got the pics 'spot on'! I am so envious (in a good way!) ~ I would love to see those castles, armor, all-things-royal and everything in England! lol. The pic of the River Thames is breathtaking. If I ever get to visit England I know that my mouth will be gaping open the entire time ;o). Have a spiffy weekend. Hugs

  10. I feel good that you agree with me about the 4 day thing but I am afraid that is all we will get. The powers that be will have to deal with it if there are complaints though.

    Fun photos... HUGS

  11. Darylynn very nice photos looks fun. My family on my dads side the Darlings and Carters came from London so we have family there that I have not been in touch with for awhile. I love the way they talk and how they say mom, mum, so cute. What a great Vacation and so Expensive but so worth it. I think our next big trip is the Alaska Cruise. I can't wait till next year! even if it does mean I am one year older. Rylan is fine he is 7 months old in two days. Yes I am blogging only at the shinymoonbeams and not the old fashioned anymore, my blog is a different kind of blog now, not real personal but just more crafty and a few tidbits here and there. I put most of personal stuff on facebook for the the family now to see. Trying to contain my privacy a bit in the cyber world. Morgan is 13 and Kirsten is one year into her marriage and they are thinking of buying a home while they are real cheap, she is wanting another baby and hopefully in one year will be able to stay at home with the kids, that will make 4. She is not ready yet for the second baby. Rylan is growing like a weed and has 4 teeth! Big hugs

  12. You are right about the acts of kindness, I think too.

Forgot to wish you a happy St Patricks Day (got to remember that for tonights post). I think I will have to change my writing posts around. I feel like it is backwards.

I just saw your weather thingy. And what? You look like you're in Seattle. Wear your raincoat. Our Spring has been WET event the snow we had was big and wet fluffy snow.
