Grandpa's Lil Helper

As I mentioned in a previous post, there was cactus blocking our shortcut down the hill to Jacob's summer camp so he brought all his gear to help grandpa cut back the prickly points of the cactus.  Here he is telling you all about it.

Sorry I've been MIA!  I really need to stay off the computer because sitting makes things worse.  I went to my doctor yesterday to take care of the pre-op bloodwork and chest xray.  Have a great 1st day of summer (whoo-hoo!) and wonderful weekend!

    Hi Darylynn, I think Jacobs litte explanation was too cute. I am so glad you got the cactus cut back a bit, they can do a lot of damage.
    I left the comment above with wrong name, would appreciate you deleting it for me.
    I wanted to say that with the no BLT that goes for cars and beds too. You have to sit on the side of bed then lay your top half down on your side, then swing legs up into the bed. With car you sit on edge of car seat, then swing legs in moving as one unit as best you can. It helps even before surgery to get in that habit.

    Hi Darylynn, I miss your frequent post. I read about your weight gain and for our size I know how it feels. I have gained 6 pounds or more and all in my middle of course. I know I need to get exercising and I have no excuse. I was eating to fill the pain, but I am feeling better. Have a great week. Hugs
