Merry Christmas Eve!

Wishing everyone a Happy Christmas Eve and Merry Christmas Day!  Also, a Happy Birthday to Jessica's husband, Pat, whose birthday was yesterday, the 23rd.  Ryan and Jacob have had colds and Jeff also caught a cold so we took it easy this weekend and watched holiday movies.  We finished up our Christmas shopping and all the presents are wrapped and under the tree and stocking stuffers are ready to go.  I ran out of gift tags so made some that Kia had shared on her blog.  I also had some from Julie in my graphics folder so printed them, too.  They turned out really cute!  Thanks Kia and Julie!  Here's a photo.
Everyone will be here Christmas morning to open presents.  We will be having our usual Christmas Brunch of lox, bagels, cream cheese, Jarlsberg cheese, tomato slices and Bermuda onion slices.  We build them like an open-faced sandwich and serve them with coffee and Mimosas.

  3. love your Christmas brekkie tradition. We don't have anything special for breakfast, because lunch is served early in this house, and there's usually so much that there is no point in eating first thing!

We've been out & about today, and I've managed to do three of my traditions. Pleased about that.

I saw you on Twitter yesterday, Julie had her baby boy! She pushed that one out nice and quickly, good for her! Hope she's home for Christmas now.

Well, I must away. Lots going on here. The Girl has managed to open most of her pressies. How can I of all people tell her off? I just laugh! I've only opened a couple so far (ok, 5!), Bill didn't even get to wrap my new diary. When it was delivered I just opened the box, showed him when he came home and that was as much as he saw of it. I've just had a bath, am in tartan jim jams, and about to sit on the bed and read one of the new cook books I've been given. So no sorry!

Merry Chrismtas to you all xxx

  4. Merry Christmas Darylynn, I like your home made tags. I ran out of ink and used the store bought. I have been a bit off this year and didn't even get all my cards out. There is always next year. I am happy to spend as much time with my dad as I can. Hope you don't get sick. Hugs

  6. Merry Christmas (the day after)... and of course now we prepare for the New Year ahead. Resolutions come to mind. I didn't have any the last couple of years (I think it was because of the divorce). But I am up for them now! I will have to get back to you on them. I am so glad to feel the energy returning to normal after the Christmas hussle. HUGS
