The Coolest Places!

As I mentioned before, Sarah, Justin's girlfriend, is off on another of her exotic vacations.  She finds the coolest places to stay.  Here's a photo of her and her relative Kirsten (on the left) at their "floating" hotel in Thailand.

Here's a link to where they are staying:  Float House on the River Kwai in Thailand.  Check out the link... it looks amazing!  They have lots of exciting things planned so I'll post when I get photos.  We definitely need to get Sarah to plan our trips!  Justin said they are planning to go to Europe next year and would like us to go with them.

We had a nice weekend visiting with Justin.  He came Thursday night after dropping Sarah off at LAX.  Buddy, her yellow lab that stayed with us when they were in London and Istanbul, is at a 2 week Boot Camp for wayward dogs.  He is so full of mischief so she figured it would be a good time to get some more training for him while she's away.  Sierra was with Justin so we went on a dog hike in addition to seeing the movie Skyfall.  We thought it was very good but Justin still thinks Casino Royale was the best.  Justin spent the night again on Friday and went home on Saturday.

We are planning to take Ryan and Jacob to Disneyland on Tuesday.  We'll avoid today since it's a holiday... Happy Veteran's Day and have a great week ahead!

  1. ooh, where in Europe will you go?

I'm going to whisper this, because it's probably not right for a Brit to say, but I find James Bond films a total bore! Proably because they are always repeating them on telly here. So I'm not going to trek to the cinema to watch it. If I wait a couple of years, it'll probably be on a loop on all Bank Holidays!

    Have a lovely Monday x

  2. Hi Darylynn,
Sounds like you had a great weekend and visit with Justin. That floating hotel sounds wonderful. Tomorrow will be perfect for Disneyland. Brrrrrr it is cold I actually have my heat on which I very seldom do but it is just too cold right now. Did you see SNL Homeland skit? So many people I know did not get it since they don't watch it. I thought it was LOL funny. Have a wonderful day. Hugs,Dru

  5. Hi Darylynn, it should be perfect weather for Disneyland on Tuesday. I would go back to Legoland in the spring because there is a whole section where you can get wet. They even have a people dryer to sit in. We had a nice time for sure. That would be great if you could go with Justin and his girlfriend to Europe. Have a great week. Hugs
