When we last left Justin and Sarah they were white water rafting to their next hotel in Costa Rica. On Friday, Justin and Sarah went to the famous Tabacon Hot Springs. The hot springs are fed by the Arenal volcano. Justin said that this was one of the highlights of their trip. He said, "It was unbelievable. Every drop of water (in the shots below) was between 95 and 100 degrees. It rained halfway through the day and the whole jungle turned into an outdoor stream room." I think these photos look like a professional photo shoot. Some of them almost look like they were photoshopped! This place is definitely on the bucket list!
I'll be adding more photos when they return on Tuesday. Justin says he has photos of their exciting white water rafting trip and also photos of their ziplining over the jungle. If you'd like to see a video of people doing the same zipline, one on YouTube is HERE. Here's a fuzzy photo Justin posted on Facebook.

Happy Labor Day Darylynn,
ReplyDeleteGreat photos of Justin and Sarah. We are going to go ziplining on one of the islands for sure on our cruise. It is so much fun. Have a wonderful BBQ I am off today and am going to spend a nice relaxing day to myself.
Hugs, Dru
Wonderful photos. Nice to see them having such a great time. What a good way to spend a vacation.
ReplyDeleteHugs
Happy Labor Day to you too!
ReplyDeleteWow! Love seeing these wonderful photos. The kids really know how to vacation. Hope you get to go someday. Hugz!
ooh, bloke sans shirt! You know I love that sort of pic! ha ha.
ReplyDeletelooks so utterly gorgeous. What a fabulous place.
Hope you had a good Labour Day. Still no idea what it's about, but a day off is always good in my book.
Girl back at school today. Sad for me, but she was so happy to go in this morning that I can't help feel proud of her. I'd rather she was like that than a snivelling wreck.
And as for me, well, had a 5 mile walk, a fab lunch, and am getting on with tons of stuff without interruption. There is always a bright side!
enjoy your Tuesday x
Watching them on their trip has been fun and informative! I am glad they had so much fun. I am sure you can't wait to see them home and hear the rest of their stories. HUGS
ReplyDeleteHappy Tuesday Darylynn;
ReplyDeleteGreat photos of the beautiful couple. Looks like they are having a grand time. Looking forward to more pics. Have a great day. Hugs
Looks like a wonderful trip they had and great photos of the two of them both. It's nice they have been taking so many trip lately, lucky them!
ReplyDeleteI hope you had a wonderful Labor day weekend! Hugs
I see on the News that Costa Rica had an earthquake and is in danger of a tsunami. Hope you've heard from Jeff and Sarah. I'm praying for their safe return. Hugz!
ReplyDeletecame here as soon as i saw the news of the earthquake... rescanned your post to see when they are/were due home.... so does their return on "tuesday" mean YESTERDAY? thus meaning they are home and safe!?
ReplyDeleteGot your comment on my blog. It is a really nice time of year here, Jeff's dad will have a great time sight seeing. The weather is really nice. Tell him it is not like that the rest of the year ;-) though.
ReplyDeleteHi Darylynn,
ReplyDeleteInteresting about dyed in the wool! You are still teaching.
So the Airline Pilots Assoc.. they cover other professions as well. At the time I was working in the field of optometry of all things.
I heard about the earthquake this morning and ran to your blog to be sure they had left already.
Glad they missed it.
Gorgeous photos, it looks like they had an awesome time. Yikes..a little bit close for comfort with that earthquake hitting Costa Rica just one day after they left!I'm sure you are very pleased to have them safely home.
ReplyDeleteI know you also feel very blessed that Jeff has been such a wonderful father and role model...we chose well! Thank you for dropping by and leaving your comments, they are appreciated. I was only 28 when I lost my dad, and I always felt that was way too young, but for you to have been 15, that must have been a huge loss especially at such an impressionable age. Do you think Jeff has some of the qualities you missed about your own dad?
