Even though Jacob's 3rd birthday isn't until the 22nd, he already got a little Toy Story bike from his Grandpa Pat. Here is is proudly sitting on his bike. It was so hot that day that Jessica took the photo indoors.
Jessica took her vacation this week so they could celebrate Jacob's birthday. Today they are taking the boys on a train ride to Santa Barbara. They'll go to the zoo and have lunch. They boys are so excited about this. They've never been on a real train before.

ReplyDeleteWhen my boys were little, we took a train ride to Los Angeles and went to Olvera Street and the Children's Museum. When I was 12 my family went to Denver by train one Christmas and it was beautiful! Have a great day. Hugs

Boys love trains! I use to take the boys when they were younger to the train in Snoqualmie. Here is the website which is fun to look at http://www.trainmuseum.org/SnoqualmieDepot.asp They would also have Thomas come and ride kids around. I remember taking Riley to see Thomas and he acted like he was meeting a movie star.

ReplyDeleteI cannot believe wee Jacob is 3! Wow. Fantastic photo of him on his new bike :). Happy birthday to Kanan, as well, he's such a handsome fellow. I had a good laugh over your previous post; the conversation you had with Jeff about the iphone5... lol, just priceless ;o)
I am still loving my iPad that Rog found for me on Kijiji site; I absolutely adore it. You had recommended a few Apps for it and those are still my favorites. I can't wait to get into the Computer program next Fall (Rog is in it now) so I can learn, among other things, how to create Apps. Well, I'm pretty sure some of that will be covered in the 2 year program. I think that'd be just my 'cup of tea' ;o)
Rog is learning about programming right now and he's just loving it... he's finding it hard to concentrate on his other classes, he gets so absorbed in the programming part. That's the area I'm most interested in. He didn't think he' be, but now he's singing a different story ;o). I watched him for a bit, doing some programming and it just reminds me of creating web pages... the 'behind the scenes' of the html stuff.
