While I'm sharing photos, here's one of Justin, Sarah and Sarah's friend Tilda on their snowboarding trip to Colorado. Tilda lives in Denver.
Justin and Sarah made it safely home Monday night. Before they left, he texted me a photo of their plane with the wings covered in snow. Their flight was delayed while the plane was de-iced. I could've gone all day without seeing that photo. Yesterday, Jeff and I took Sierra back to Justin's house. She's a great little dog and we'll miss her. Justin was busy working from home but we all grabbed a quick lunch at Chipotle and then we headed home before rush hour. Today, the boys will be here and will probably be here the rest of the week. Other than my little storytime dates at the library with Jacob, we haven't had the boys here much so it will be nice to see them both.

Glad the kids had a fun time in Colorado and are
ReplyDeletehome safely. Have fun with the kids! Hugz!

Hi Darylynn;
ReplyDeleteI remember the beautiful sunsets in January when I was there. That photo of the plane with the wings covered in snow would have made a wreak out of me. I'm so glad Justin & Sarah made it home safely. Enjoy your time with your grandsons, they grow up way too fast. I still can't believe mine is 20 already!! Hugs
Beautiful sunset! Glad Justin and Sarah made it home okay and that they had a great time. xx
ReplyDeleteOh my, what a beautiful Sunset... I must admit that is probably the one and only thing I liked about living in San Diego when we were stationed there. I'm glad Justin and Sarah made it home safely. I hope all is warm and cozy out your way. -hugs-
ReplyDeleteNice photo of the sunset! It sounds like fun going to the library with the boys. I did that with the boys when they were younger... I think I had the most fun. HUGS
ReplyDeleteHi Darylynn,
ReplyDeleteI agree, icy wing photos are something we never want to see. Glad they are back safe and sound.
The sunset photo is lovely. Can you sit on the balcony and if so, do you? I think I would be out there all the time.
We were up to the high 50s today and birds are loving it!
I like the seasons to be seasonable.
Enjoy the evening.
Hugs
I wonder if our kids really understand the horrors they can put mom's through with photos like that! Glad they made it home safely. The sunset is gorgeous! I have some photos of Cedar Key sunsets that I've taken. Have a great day. ((Hugs))
ReplyDeleteHappy Thursday, Darylynn! I would have been nervous to the point of being sick if I had seen that picture but I am such a worrier. I'm glad that they made it home safely. What a beautiful picture of the sunset! Have a great day. :) Hugs
