The Big Birthday!
We had a nice turnout for George's (Jeff's dad) 90th birthday on Sunday. The weather was beautiful and it was great to get so many of the relatives together. Many hadn't seen each other in years. I don't have time to write much but will try and catch up later in the week. I'm still having problems with my computer so may end up taking it into to the geek squad. Unfortunately the new keyboard and mouse didn't solve my problem. Someone suggested upgrading from Vista to Windows 7 so may look into that. It's always something. I'll leave you with a photo from yesterday. This is a photo of the three siblings. George's sister Betsy, brother Mack in the middle and George on the right. They are each three years apart with Betsy being the youngest and George the oldest. George doesn't look or act 90! Good genes!

ReplyDeleteSorry about the pc problems :(( I love Windows 7 I have it on both my PC's but not sure if that will fix it?? The Geek Squad did good for me and since I have a year memebership Joe took his in and they cleaned it up for free and Justin just took his in he did have to pay $85 to save all data. Great picture of George and his brother and sister. Yes great genes that is for sure :) Hugs, Dru
Hi Darylynn, what a great picture, they all look wonderful and so happy. I'm glad it was a great party. Sorry your still having pc problems too. I would love to have windows 7 I think Vista is so slow. Just make sure all your data is saved. Hope you find the problem soon. Love and Hugs.

ReplyDeleteLove the photo of the "youngsters" I posted about age and threw in an amazing video. ;-} If I were you I would get rid of Vista (hated it) and turn to Windows 7. Much better believe me. Hope you get everything solved soon my friend. Hugs
Glad everything was great Darylynn it was hot to me! today is my perfect weather day. I don't like you being a human guinea pig, but when you put it that way that you only take it when you need it I would do it also. Steve was taking that Ambien type of stuff every night it's bad for your liver he has cut way back. He mostly has aches and pains so now he is taking the Aleeve. I am so glad I don't wake up once I go to sleep! I just wish I could fall to sleep and have been taking a relaxer anti anxiety pill at night and that does help some. I am such an anxious person so perhaps no hope for me. Let me know how that works for you I will call Steve's doc and get it for him. He jus goes through this all the time, I don't know how he works all day when he does not sleep well at night. Hope the computer problems get resolved. Have a great week! big hugs

Definitely hear that Vista is worth replacing but ask the squad about it. Not cheap to do.
