Not too enthusiastic!
I can relate! I always thought the last day of school was the best day ever! All the anticipation of what the summer ahead held! It seemed to go on forever...all those lazy, hazy crazy days... and now summer is over in a blink of the eye!
September is a busy month for us. Jessica's birthday is the 7th, Justin's is the 10th, our 39th anniversary is the 14th and Jacob turns four on the 22nd. Jeff and I are determined to do something really, really special next year on our 40th! This year was kind of spoiled by my back problem. I see my doctor this Friday and I'm sure I'll be able to cast my back brace aside and begin physical therapy!

no, he does not seem overjoyed to be going to school! Girl is back on Thursday, and I think I'll look more downcast than her. I love having her home for summer hols. Six weeks is just not enough. :O(
ReplyDeleteHoping your back brace can be removed now. I hope once it is, your back pain is totally gone.
Happy September! Busy one for you!
xx
Boy he sure looks happy Darylynn, I feel kind of sorry for him. That is a really pouty look, who would want to go to school in southern CA when you have a great beach to spend time at.
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoys his new teacher and has a great new school year. That is great you will do something fun next year for your anniversary. Hugs
Hi Darylynn, so happy to see you post. Poor Ryan, he looks so sad. Eddie loves school! I posted a link of the wedding at my blog. Jazzy's birthday too. We plan to do something special next year for our 40th too. Happy Labor day though we are all retired. Hugs

Hello Darylynn,
ReplyDeleteaw, poor baby ... I can relate, my two boys will go back to school tomorrow & P (now over 11) is changing school. SO many changes ... which I was not looking forward, actually.

Hi Darylynn,
ReplyDeleteRyan looks sad, not too thrilled about going back to school.
Wow, what a busy month of celebrations for you and your family.
We have that kind of month as well. My parents anniversary, my son Chris' birthday, my birthday, plus a few other family member's birthdays.
Glad you will be getting rid of back brace soon!
Take care and happy September.

I think it's great that you'll be casting your back brace away. I'm going through physical therapy now and praying and hoping I will be able to walk normally again. ReplyDeleteHope you have a wonderful weekend.

Hmm, my comment never showed up.
ReplyDeleteRyan does look like he can think of better ways to spend the day!
I hope your doctors visit went well and that the brace is now history.
I wear mine when I go out though he said I don't need it. It is a safety net for me since the surgery site is half my entire spine and I feel more secure against people bumping into me.
Have a lovely day today.
Hugs
