They had a spring sale where if you bought one pair, the second pair was 30% off. I bought my first pair- the black with hot pink trim- at Kohl's but really wanted the hot coral ones but they didn't have my size. I saw the coral ones at this Skecher's store but the ones that really caught my eye were a lace-up pair that I just had to have. Even Jeff thought they were the coolest shoes ever. I told him to find a men's pair and we'd be able to get the discount but he didn't like how lightweight they are... which is one of the things I like about them so he told me to get the coral ones along with the lace ups so here's my shoe loot.
I never thought I'd be wearing neon again- been there, done that- but they go really well with my workout outfits.
On Friday, I'll post the things I got at Pottery Barn and also some really great finds from HomeGoods/TJ Maxx!

Hi Darylynn, I have noticed the bright neon colors too and I have been a bit reluctant to buy something to wear. The shoes look neat though and for workout clothing, they're a lot of fun. I saw your Skechers photo on FB and I wish those were around when I was young! They look like they were designed by "Lisa Frank" since they match her stickers, notebooks, etc. Have a terrific day!
ReplyDeleteoh now you're talking my language! Shoes! Love your stash, and just LOVE that display! Yes, we have them here, but not as much choice as that. Girl would go bonkers! I'm proud to say she's a shoe girl like a mama!
ReplyDeleteShe's still all about the Lelli Kelly's though I've had to put a stop to it. They aren't as sturdy as I'd like and she only wants them for the free gift .. and the sparkleyness of them!
xx
oh i've already embraced the whole neon thing with workout clothes (heck.... i guess you could consider my iphone and ipad mini skins hot pink!) hubby makes fun of it... but i LOVE it! i've even got a couple of non workout t-shirts with neon on them!
ReplyDeleteHi Darylynn, Yes, I'm that Betty Jo! LOL What a pleasant surprise to find your comment in my blog a little while ago. I will check out Elliot's FB page right away. I would like to email you as well. Will look for an email addy after publishing my comment.
ReplyDeleteHi again Darylynn, I couldn't locate an email addy, may just be overlooking it. I also couldn't find Elliot's FB page. Please send the FB page addy to b.jp101AThotmail.com (change the AT to @). Thanks!! :)
ReplyDeleteHi Darylynn,
ReplyDeleteVery cute! You with your bargains!! You are the only one I know that gets such good deals they almost pay you for what you buy lol Hope you have a wonderful evening and stay away from the dog cookies lol I does it have the calories on the box?? Hugs, Dru
Now that's a whole bunch of shoes. Love yours! Hugz!
ReplyDeleteNeon! The multicolored ones are cool for sure. Sounds nice that they are light weight too. I don't like heavy shoes at all.
ReplyDeleteCan't believe those high top sneakers in the store display.
Glad you had a fun time shopping.
hugs
Hi Darylynn, I am all caught up here. Sorry about your back problems. I know I have them too and I agree, we small women do way to much and we pay the price. I am so out of shapre. My arms were nice when I was taking care of my dad but I lost 10 pounds and a lot of it was muscle. Dr said severe stress will do that. I took your advise and went for a long walk at the park and taked to God. I have felt better since. My parents are with Him now and I need to enjoy my time with my family. My grand daughters would love those shoes! You see, they both know they are princesses! Enjoy the therapy! Hugs
ReplyDeleteHi Darylynn!
ReplyDeleteLOVE all the shoes!! When Kelly was little there were some cute shoes, but not like this.
Hope your therapy is going well.
Have a blessed week.
HUGS
Hi Darylynn! I LOVE the shoes! What girl wouldn't? lol Back when I was a teen the rave was those neon gel shoes and Converse. I still love Converse until this day. lol Love your shoe loot! Great score! I hope you're having a wonderful Thursday. Hugs
ReplyDeleteHey Darylynn... it is Sketchers week. As you know, I bought mine at Kohls this week and was happy with the savings I got there. Anyway, I didn't go neon... but went navy. I only really had the choice of navy and gray. I am happy with navy even though it isn't as fun as neon. Have a wonderful weekend! I am on a small weekend trip with Kari and the boys. Will write about that later although I was able to get off a post today. HUGS
