My Wine Glass Chandelier arrived from Pottery Barn on Wednesday just two days after I ordered it so I ran all over town yesterday finding 30 wine glasses. I wanted all tulip shaped glasses but in 3 different sizes. I found 16 (4 boxes of 4) large glasses for the top tier at Bed, Bath & Beyond, 10 medium glasses for the middle tier at Cost Plus and 4 small glasses for the bottom tier at HomeGoods. They are all dishwasher safe and I paid around $2.00 for each glass which is pretty economical. Jeff did a great job of installing it as usual. So glad he is handy at so many things. Here's a photo.
The chain swag part looks better than in the photo. Since I was shooting from below you can't really see how it looks. In addition to doing the electrical for my chandelier, Jeff also installed two new outdoor coach lights on either side of the garage door at our other house where Jessica and family live. There wasn't wiring for them so he had to do all the wiring and cut holes in the stucco to install them.
Kim asked to see our desk area from which we blog. Here's a photo including Hunter taking up all my space. He does that when he thinks I need to pay more attention to him and less to the computer.

ReplyDeleteHappy Friday Darylynn,
ReplyDeleteI love your new Wine Glass Chandelier it looks great! And yes you are very lucky Jeff knows how to do stuff! There are so many men that can barely screw a lightbulb in! My Paul is one of thise guys that can build or fix anything! Lisa is very lucky as you are! I love that Hunter took over your desk in the picture. Lily is here with me right now bugging me :) I hope the shot works mine did work right away but it was a different story of course! Hope you have a wonderful weekend. Hugs, Dru
Pretty! It is a good thing when hubbies know how to do things.
ReplyDeleteGarfield does the same thing Hunter is doing. They know where to get attention for sure.
I am sure the cortisone will bring some ease and healing for you and glad it went well.
I hope you find a lot of relief from it this weekend.
Enjoy and relax.
Hugs!
Happy Friday, Darylynn! Well, what's left of it. :) That Chandelier looks GREAT! Hunter is such a handsome kitty! He looks comfy on your desk. Neither of our cats get on my desk but instead Lucy gets on the counters (which I can't stand). Yuck. Thank goodness for Clorox wipes. lol Have a great weekend and thank you for sharing a picture of where you blog from! Hugs.
ReplyDeleteHi Darylynn you have been very very busy. Love the Chandelier it is so pretty - even though we don't drink I think that would look great in my Italian themed kitchen.
ReplyDeleteSorry about your disc, I have had the cortisone shots and didn't find them to be very effective at all. I had them in my neck and shoulders. I hope it works for you... let me know?? Now my knee is hurting again and I think I pinched the nerve in it, but i have to go to the Doc to find out what is going on with it now. GRRR! I hate going to the Doc.
I bet your kitchen makeover is going to be wonderful. Your new cabinet and desk area is great, wish the photo was bigger though to see kitty and the area better. Have a great weekend. Hugs
Hi Darylynn. I pray the cortisone shots work wonders for you. Love the wine glass chandelier. So unusual. First one I've ever seen anyway.
ReplyDeleteYour puter desk looks warm & cozy. Dahli thinks I spend too much time at the puter too! Hugz!
Hi Darylynn,
